Lake Nahuel Huapi and the Llao Llao peninsula, San Carlos de Bariloche

The surroundings

Bariloche, at your doorstep

From downtown, everything is close: a few blocks to the lakeshore, a short drive to the mountains. That's how near Bariloche feels from NBH Premier.

On foot

Everything a short walk away

The Centro Cívico, the lakeshore and the chocolate shops on Av. Mitre are just steps from the hotel door.

Centro Cívico & Av. Mitre
Steps away

Centro Cívico & Av. Mitre

The heart of Bariloche, steps from the hotel. The stone and timber of the Centro Cívico face the main square, and along Av. Mitre you'll find the city's classic chocolate shops, cafés, breweries and stores.

Lake Nahuel Huapi
A few blocks away

Lake Nahuel Huapi

The lake that gives the region its name opens up the moment you head down toward the shore. Deep-blue waters between the mountains, pebble beaches and piers where the boat trips to Isla Victoria and the Arrayanes Forest set off.

Food & chocolate
Downtown

Food & chocolate

Bariloche is the land of lamb, smoked meats, craft beer and, above all, chocolate. Av. Mitre is lined with historic chocolate shops — giant Easter-egg window displays included — just steps from the hotel.

A short trip

The mountains, a short drive away

Three iconic peaks, all under half an hour away — a taxi or a bus and you're at the base.

Cerro Otto
~6 km

Cerro Otto

The mountain closest to downtown. A cable car climbs through the forest to the summit, where a revolving café offers a 360° view over Bariloche, Lake Nahuel Huapi and the Andes.

A short trip from the hotel; open year-round.

Cerro Campanario & Circuito Chico
~18 km

Cerro Campanario & Circuito Chico

A chairlift carries you up in minutes to one of the most celebrated lookouts in the world: the 360° view over the lakes, peninsulas and peaks that crowns the Circuito Chico, Bariloche's must-see scenic drive.

Best in the late afternoon, for sunset over the lake.

Cerro Catedral
~20 km

Cerro Catedral

South America's largest ski resort in winter, with runs for every level. In summer, the same slopes open up to mountain trails, lookouts and high-altitude refuges.

Snow season roughly June to October; trekking the rest of the year.
