At NBH Premier Hotel Bariloche we value and protect your privacy. This Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website —including the online booking and payment process—, for what purpose, how we process it, with whom we share it and what rights you have over it, in accordance with Personal Data Protection Law No. 25.326 of the Argentine Republic and its implementing Decree 1558/2001.
1. Data controller
The party responsible for processing the data is NBH Premier Hotel Bariloche, with registered address at Rolando 263, San Carlos de Bariloche, Río Negro (8400), Argentina. For any query about this Policy or your personal data, you can write to us at recepcion@nbhpremier.com or call us at +54 294 442-3681.
2. What data we collect
- Booking data: when you book on the site we ask for your first and last name, email and contact phone, along with the dates, the room and the number of guests.
- Payment data: when you pay online, the payment is processed by Mercado Pago. Your card details are entered and processed on the Mercado Pago platform; we do not store your full card number on our servers. We receive only the payment confirmation and a transaction identifier.
- Data you provide when you contact us by email or WhatsApp: whatever you choose to include in your message or query.
- Browsing data: technical information generated automatically when you visit the site (for example, device type or pages visited), where applicable through cookies (see section 8).
We only request the data strictly necessary for the purposes stated. We do not collect sensitive data.
3. Purpose of processing
- To manage and confirm your accommodation booking.
- To process the booking payment through Mercado Pago.
- To communicate with you on matters relating to your booking and to answer your queries.
- To comply with our legal, accounting and tax obligations.
- To improve the site and the browsing experience.
We do not use your data for purposes other than those stated here without your prior consent.
4. Legal basis and consent
Processing your data to manage and confirm the booking is necessary for the performance of the accommodation contract you request. When you start the booking you give your free, express and informed consent —by ticking the box accepting this Policy and the Terms & Conditions before continuing—, in accordance with article 5 of Law 25.326. Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot process the booking.
5. Payments and payment processor (Mercado Pago)
Payments by card or with a Mercado Pago account are processed on the infrastructure of Mercado Pago (Mercado Pago / Mercado Libre), which acts as payment processor and handles the transaction data under its own privacy policy and security standards (PCI-DSS). We recommend reviewing Mercado Pago's privacy policy at the time of payment. Our site receives from Mercado Pago the confirmation of the payment status and an identifier, which we associate with your booking.
6. Recipients and data processors
We do not sell your data. Only the providers that render us services in order to operate, bound by confidentiality, may access it, including:
- Mercado Pago, to process the payment (see section 5).
- Cloudbeds, the hotel-management system where your booking is recorded and administered.
- Hosting and email providers that give technical support to the site and our communications.
- Vercel, which hosts this site and provides us with aggregate usage statistics.
- Microsoft Clarity, the usage-analytics tool described in section 8.
7. International data transfer
Some of these providers (for example, the platform hosting the site or the booking system) may process or store data on servers located outside Argentina. In those cases, we require that they apply adequate levels of protection, in line with article 12 of Law 25.326 and the provisions of the Agency for Access to Public Information.
8. Cookies and measurement tools
This site uses technical cookies necessary for its operation (for example, to remember the language and currency you chose) and measurement tools that help us understand how the site is used and fix what doesn't work well:
- Vercel Analytics, which measures traffic in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying you individually.
- Microsoft Clarity, which anonymously records interaction with the pages — clicks, scrolling and navigation path — and produces heatmaps and session recordings that let us spot errors and points of friction. The fields where you enter personal data are masked: what you type into the booking form is not captured, and your card details are never accessible to this tool because they are entered in an isolated Mercado Pago environment (see section 5).
We do not use these tools for advertising or to build commercial profiles, and there are no social-network pixels on the site. You can block them from your browser settings or with blocking extensions; rejecting them does not affect your ability to book. The use of cookies that process personal data is governed by Law 25.326.
9. Data retention
We keep your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes and the applicable legal, accounting and tax obligations (for example, the documentation of the transaction), after which it will be deleted or anonymized.
10. Your rights (access, rectification and deletion)
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, updating and deletion of your data free of charge by writing to us at recepcion@nbhpremier.com.
The owner of the personal data has the right to exercise the right of access to it free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest to that effect is established, as set out in article 14, subsection 3 of Law No. 25.326.
The AGENCY FOR ACCESS TO PUBLIC INFORMATION, the supervisory body of Law No. 25.326, has the authority to address the complaints and claims filed in relation to non-compliance with the rules on the protection of personal data.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect legal changes or changes in our practices. We will publish the version in force on this page with its last- updated date.
